Our swimmers swam with heart and they delivered the team spirit that we love so much about ASC… we had all pretty much lost our voices and we were still on page one of the programme!

Well done to Southport for the win, and also to Workington who yo yo’d with us for the whole gala as we were so close on points, we can’t think of a better team for some rivalry as we already love Coach Shaun’s TikTok account

We had 14 first places and some absolutely outstanding races and PBs across all age groups. Our stand out swimmer was Hugo M who swam in the 9-11 age group and then smashed it again swimming up for the 13U/ age group which was awesome to see.

Our 14 race winners were:

• Open 9-11 Free relay: Otis, Jay, William, Hugo

• Female 13/U Medley relay: Jessica, Sophia C, Sophia R, Mikaela

• Female 15/U Free relay: Nina, Poppy, Imogen, Mollie

• Open 10-11 50 Back : William S

• Open 15/U 100 Back : Long Him K

• Female 13/U 100 Back : Jessica S

Thanks to our amazing team managers : Gary, Kristina, Jo and John, with Felicity and James as officials. Sienna was the best cheerleader supporting her squad like a pro. Thanks to all our supporters in the stands who lost their voices, you were awesome.

Time for some sleep before long course training in the morning and club champs tomorrow evening
