We had a brilliant DAY 1 at the Stockport Metro AP Race meet! We are always made to feel so welcome at this pool and we thank Stockport for putting on a fantastic meet 💙💛
 
All of our swimmers swam really well and operated as a great team. We are currently sitting 4th in the medal table behind much bigger clubs which shows how well our swimmers have performed!
 
We need a huge shout out to our medley relay team, who, with an average age of 14.25 they were swimming against a fast team from Stockport and a team from City of Manchester which included Commonwealth Games and World Champs swimmers: as Caitlyn said - they were “actual adults” 😂😂 Our team of Xander, Caitlyn, Ian and Mikaela DID NOT GET LAPPED, and looked the part in the fast heat! Well done team!

Day 2 and super proud of the team again today.  There were PBs galore and a lovely team spirit. Our youngest swimmers absolutely excelled and I’m so proud of how far they have all come. Special mention to 9 year old Annie who was 4th in the overall swimmers’ medal table! Impressive!
 
Ted celebrated his 10th birthday 🎂 today and brought us all donuts 🍩 💙💛 We hope you had a fab day Ted!
 
Thank you to everyone who has helped this weekend, it was a long one but definitely worth it! Thanks to Coach Leah for top support yesterday and the excellent Matt and John who were brilliant team managers today 🙏🏼
 
Our relay team was back swimming against Jamie Ingram and his team from COMAST and another fast Stockport team. Again they did not get lapped and it even brought Mollie out of retirement. Well done to Mollie, Xander, Caitlyn and Hisoka for the 🥉
 
Kate’s swimmer of the meet was Ian Z for relentless determination, taking on feedback and doing the most PBs.
