💙10 x 10km 💛 5 days 💙 10 countries 💛 Blood, sweat and tears 💙 The best family 💛Raising £350k for a new disability sports, training and employment programme!💙 Joseph has done some amazing things in his life (e.g. he was crowned National Champion back in November at the @downsyndromeswimminggb National Championships) but this has got to be the most impressive so far!

Joseph’s dad explained that Joseph’s Challenge has been called “No Limits” because the idea behind it is that if you remove any preconceived limits or labels you can explore someone’s full potential.  Joseph has taught all of us this over the years in many ways becoming a national swimming champion and competing in many sports in spite of not being able to walk until he was nearly three or swim until he was ten.  Rather than choose a swimming challenge - the family, with Joseph’s agreement, decided to pick a sport he really doesn’t love and 330km of training later he is ready to go.

It was wonderful to see Joseph and his team finish their epic challenge at the @altrincham10k - he finished his last 10k in the second fastest time of all the 10ks which is pretty impressive stuff! Well done Joseph and team from all at Altrincham Swimming Club, you have absolutely smashed this one! Rest up, you must be exhausted! But we do need you back in the pool soon! 🌊🌊
