A massive good luck to Jasmine’s mum Liz who is running her first half marathon today in support of a great cause. Here’s a message from Jasmine explaining a bit more about it:

Hello, I’m raising money for Little Green Sock, the baby and children’s clothing bank where I volunteer every week that helps local families who are struggling and in need. To support this My mum is running her first ever half marathon on 31st May at the Great Manchester run and I am asking for donations, thank you if you can help

Massive well done to our inspiring Coach Kristina who smashed it at Manchester Marathon on Sunday

A marathon is never easy but Kristina really did have a few years of obstacles to overcome including a meniscus tear. She did the rehab and built the running back up for an absolutely outstanding result this weekend

We've updated the meet calendar for the coming year. It's not exhaustive and I'm sure things will change during the year, but it should help to understand which galas are aimed at your swimmer and will hopefully help you plan for these.

There is a ‘Members Resources’ section of the Members Area on the website and there is already lots of interesting and useful information on there, so please have a look if you haven’t already. Helen I, who is our most senior Official and coordinates our Pointscores, has recently put together some really useful links on the technical rules for each stroke which will help all swimmers to understand the rules better.
